Back in 2008

Hope everyone had a happy holiday season. It's crazy what can happen during a 3+ week absence from posting or plugging in to world events.

- The Hellboy 2 trailer looks awesome!

- The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are back on the air. Still don't know how I feel about that. I'm happy to have the shows back on, but I do agree that the strike has gotten a bit ridiculous on both sides. With that said, it will be interesting to watch these shows as the strike goes on. At least they are back so I can pretend this isn't on the air.

- Hillary and Obama are slugging it out for the Democratic nomination. I am keeping an eye on the race, and I have to say, Obama is quite the orator. Whether that translates into winning the nomination is yet to be determined. I suppose in some aspects it's inspiring to think about the increasing likelihood that we may have either a woman or an African American in the White House in 2009. It will be interesting to see how the race develops over the next month or so.

- Wyoming gave most of its delegates to Mitt Romney. Way to go Wyo! Here's to hoping that Trauner can get the Congressional seat this year.

- Oh, and Britney Spears is still insane.

The new Colbert and Daily Shows were pretty funny. I'm glad they are back on.

Brittney Spears is insane and needs to go away.

The girls on AG are scary...

Flynn, do you mean UW AG? If so, I wonder if there is a direct correlation between working with hairy beasts and looking like one?

...we are SO going to hell.

I am afraid of Helga. Plain ol' skeered.

Dude, I think Chuck Norris is a little scared of Helga. He'd still whoop her, but he'd be a little scared at first.
