I ran across a couple of movie trailers that I thought I'd share. You will need quicktime. If you don't have quicktime...WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU! After watching each trailer, you may read my comments below.
Numero uno.
Numero dos.
Trailer uno: Robert Downey Jr. may have just been born to play the role of Tony Stark. The director, Jon Favreau has been involved with great movies like Swingers, and seems like a smart filmmaker. I hope the good cast leads to an enjoyable and interesting movie.
Trailer dos: Given that the earlier Beowulf movie was "B-tastic", perhaps this one will be more interesting. The CG reminds me a lot of the Final Fantasy movie from a while back.
If you like, feel free to comment on either or both. Jaded & negative comments are accepted, but strongly discouraged.

Your hopefulness is delightful to see... Wish I could share in it.
I couldn't really care any less about Beowulf. I've read it. I've seen all the film incarnations. Even Beowulf 3000. And I've played the mighty warrior on three consoles. I'm Beowulfed out.
Iron Man on the other hand, had better rock my fucking socks. If I get another Fantastic Four 2, or DOOM, I'm going to fucking murder someone.
Along those lines, did anyone notice the re-re-remake of Street Fighter has been put in the capable safety-mitts of the same people responsible for DOOM?
Grrr...
Flynn, I have to say, I didn't mind "The 13th Warrior", which was loosely based on the Beowulf myth.
As per Iron Man. I am hoping it turns out to be an enjoyable movie. Marvel's track record lately hasn't been good, X3, Ghostrider, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four 2, all were poo.
What's this about Street Fighter? Do you have a link to share?
You didn't mind 13th Warrior? YOU DIDN'T MIND 13th WARRIOR?!!!
Man, I don't even know you anymore...
:(
Didn't mind in the sense that I have seen worse movies.
Didn't mind in the sense that I thought it was an adequate movie.
Didn't mind that the movie hardly pissed in my gas tank.
It was far from the best movie I've ever seen.
I hope we can still be friends. ;)
